Acid corrosion inhibitor products are used in pickling and cleaning, where intense acid is used to reduce the metal's wear and maintain acid activity for a long time.
Acid corrosion inhibitors are mainly used for inorganic acids such as Hydrochloric acid, Hydrofluoric acid, Sulphuric acid, Sulfamic acid, and products used for organic acids such as Citric acid.
An acid bath cleans the metal parts with rust and scale. During an acid bath, metal parts are constantly exposed to corrosion by acid. If the pickling on metal parts continues after cleaning rust and scale, the efficacy of the acid solution will be shortened.
Acid inhibitor products prevent unnecessary metal etching, protecting the metal and keeping the acid solution active for longer. Hydrochloric acid is mainly preferred in such works. As the application depth increases underground, acid temperature increases and high-temperature corrosion inhibitors should be used. Inhibitor products are added to the acid solution to be pumped, thereby protecting the steel pipes and equipment.
